You will be accompanied by various multi-lingual local guides during the tour, who will be responsible for guiding you through the various cities and attractions that you will be visiting. In each new city that you visit, you will likely be introduced to a new local guide who is an expert in that region. This tour is conducted at a medium-fast pace. Some long travel days may be required to complete this itinerary and you will typically spend two nights at each destination, with some one night stays required. This trip includes a mix of sightseeing and free time to explore at your own pace. You will be required to move about unassisted, including getting on and off vehicles, walking up and down stairs and some activities will be conducted on uneven or steep terrain. After breakfast, meet your local tour leader who will brief you about the upcoming activities. Following this, enjoy a full day walking tour of this incredible city. We’ll walk to Santa Lucia Hill: Conquistador Pedro de Valdivia founded Santiago here on February 12, 1541. Then continue to “Paseo Ahumada”, the city’s main shopping and commercial centre to see “La Moneda” government palace and the Stock Exchange. Following this we head to the Plaza de Armas square and see Santiago’s Cathedral and then take a transfer to the other side of the city to explore the Parque Bicentenario. This beautiful park is on the slopes of Cerro San Cristobal and has a total area of 27 hectares and showcases around 4,000 trees of which more than 1,300 are native species and protected by the Chilean Ministry of the Environment.
Enjoy time at the North Lagoon home to black-necked swans, flamingos, coots and herons before returning to your hotel this afternoon where the rest of your day is at leisure.
This evening, enjoy an Inspiring Taste with a welcome dinner at a local restaurant paired with some of the finest Chilean wines found in the local area.
Today you are transferred to the airport to board your flight to Mendoza, one of the most picturesque cities in Argentina and one of the largest wine producing areas in Latin America. As such, Mendoza is one of the nine Great Wine Capitals, and the city is an emerging enotourism destination and base for exploring the region's hundreds of wineries located along the Argentina Wine Route.
Upon your arrival at Mendoza airport, you will be met by your local driver and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, meet your tour leader for an orientation walk around the city.
Note: In the event your flight to Mendoza is later in the day, your orientation tour will take place tomorrow morning. Flight times are subject to change.

This evening enjoy an included dinner at a unique location, where regional cuisine is still valued, accompanied by the best wines.
Today you will enjoy tasting various varieties of wines and lunch in a place surrounded by vineyards. Enjoy a fully guided tour of two of the region’s favourite wineries. Learn of the different varieties and methods used at each winery, tour the vineyard and cellars and enjoy a tasting of their varieties. At the end of the tour, in the last winery, a first-class lunch with matching wines will be served.
Today, you are transferred to the airport for your included flight to Buenos Aires where, at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel located in the heart of the downtown district.
Born on the banks of Río de la Plata, Buenos Aires is a city of contrasts. Avenues which display sensational European buildings and architectural pieces of work and neighbourhoods oozing with intense cultural, artistic and gastronomic surprises around each corner.
Please note that your internal flights within Argentina have a luggage limit of 15kg per person (33lbs). Unfortunately, Inspiring Vacations cannot increase this limit and is limited by the airlines luggage policy. Any fees for excess baggage incurred at the airport will be the responsibility of the traveller and payable directly to the airline during check in.
After breakfast, meet your local guide and fellow travellers to discover Buenos Aires through the eyes of a local on a half day city tour covering all the main sites. Start off by visiting Plaza de Mayo, the heart of Buenos Aires and the place where the city was founded. Then, head to Puerto Madero, known as the gateway of the founders of Argentina. There you will appreciate the transformation of one of the most modern neighbourhoods in the city. Continue to La Boca and Caminito, where you will feel Argentinians’ passion for football. Pass by the Bombonera Stadium and the Riachuelo River, populated by Italian immigrants.
Next, a visit to San Telmo, the place where the elegant and sensual dance, Tango, originated. Finally visit Palermo and Recoleta to learn more about Porteños’ customs, habits and behaviours, also pass by the Recoleta Cemetery (entrance ticket is not included) and the beautiful Floralis Generica.
Return to the hotel where the rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Take time to relax or perhaps seek out one of the many local “Parrillas'' or steakhouses where open-fire hearth and grates prepare flavoursome Argentinian steak - a true sensory experience! From fine dining to street carts, these steakhouses can be found all over the city.
Today is free for you to explore Buenos Aires on your own.
Tonight, enjoy an Inspiring Site with a special Tango-show and dinner at one of the city’s premier theatres. You will be escorted from your hotel to the historic venue showcasing the authentic representation of the Buenos Aires culture through the ages. With an array of artists on stage you will experience tango orchestras, a collection of folk music, dancers and singers all while feasting on international and local Argentinian dishes and a selection of Argentine wine. Following the show, you will be transferred back to your hotel for the evening.
Today you'll head to a traditional conventillo, an urban house with a large patio, and enjoy an exclusive tango performance by two professional dancers who have been working together for more than 15 years. The dancers are passionate about preserving and sharing the art of tango, and the performance will be followed by a fantastic beginner’s class so you can experience part of Argentina’s cultural heritage first-hand. Learn about the style and history of the dance and pick up a few moves you can take home with you.
After the dance lesson, learn what local life looks like in Buenos Aires and head to the home of a porteno (inhabitant of Buenos Aires) for a traditional Asado feast. Chat to your friendly host about all things Argentine while enjoying a fantastic spread of barbecued meats, provoleta cheese and plenty of local wine.

If you book pre and/or post-tour accommodation on your own arrangement, and the tour includes transfers, note that these will be forfeited. The transfers are only provided in line with the tour dates and pre and/or post-tour accommodation purchased through Inspiring Vacations when available.

Fitness Requirements
While the tour itinerary should give you some guidance and overview to the expected requirements, to determine if this tour is right for you we categorise each of our tours in terms of their intensity. These guidelines are to ensure that each tour group is conducted as expected and to ensure the overall satisfaction of all Inspiring Vacations customers.
As a general rule, porterage is not included, therefore at all times you are expected to handle your own luggage where help may not be available.

Moderate Tour: A good level of fitness and mobility is required, as this tour includes a moderate level of physical activity and is considered a medium-fast paced tour. You should be able to walk up and down stairs, get on and off the coach and able to walk reasonable distances of approximately 2 kilometres per day or more with ease. Any physical ailments you may have must be disclosed at the time of booking to determine your suitability. If you have any form of walking aids, other than a walking stick or hiking poles, then this tour is not suitable.
Tipping
A friendly reminder that tipping is not included in your package. While tipping is not customary, it's of great significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels, inspires excellent service, and is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry across many destinations.

The accommodation listed is subject to change. Any changes will be of an equal or higher standard. Bedding configurations (double or twin) are requests only. All efforts will be made to meet your preferences, but we can’t guarantee your request will be available at all properties.
Single travellers
When booking this tour, solo travellers will be presented with three options:
1 - Single Supplement
By paying an additional $774.00 per person, in addition to the twin-share price, you guarantee the privacy of your own room throughout the entire trip.
2- Shared Room with a known friend
If travelling together with a friend, you can opt to share your room with him/her and avoid paying a single supplement.
You and your friend can create a unique booking each. Creating a unique booking, gives each of you the flexibility of making different travel arrangements (such adding extra accommodation, flights, etc), make separate payments and have individual access to our Traveller Hub
During the purchase path, you will need to provide your friend’s booking ID (if known) or at a minimum, your friend’s full name.
3- Shared Room with a fellow traveller
In this trip you can opt to share a room with a fellow traveller of the same gender – as specified in your passport - and avoid paying a single supplement.
If you believe you may prevent your travelling companion from enjoying a peaceful night’s rest, please refrain from selecting this option.
You will meet your rooming companion at the beginning of your trip.
Changes to room configuration during the trip must be organised by travellers directly with the hotel, subject to availability and additional charges.
