As a general requirement across all of our trips, you may be required to walk up and down stairs, get on and off transportation, handle your own luggage, and participate in all scheduled sightseeing that may be conducted on uneven ground and terrain. This tour is fully escorted by a dedicated tour leader who will accompany you throughout the tour. If your tour includes multiple countries, you will be met by a new tour leader in each country and any internal flights included will be unescorted.

Welcome to Madrid. Upon arrival at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel. Please, check the informative posters placed at the hotel reception area which have all the information about the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travellers. Towards the end of the day you will be transferred to the Egyptian Debod Temple, Plaza de Espana and Gran Via's vibrant district where you can dine at your preferred restaurant.
The morning starts with a comprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid including the Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcala, Plaza de Colon and Plaza Mayor. We then will visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. A visit to Las Ventas Bullring is next - this is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where we will learn about the tradition of the corridas at the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your own leisure. At sunset you will be transferred to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving different cuisines, such as local Spanish food, international and Chinese. Enjoy a pleasant dinner of your choice before returning to the hotel.
Today we leave for Aragon over the lands of Castile. In Zaragoza we stop briefly to see the Pilar Basilica. We continue to the Monastery of Poblet, surrounded by its walls in a beautiful site that is one of the best preserved medieval monasteries in the world. We then proceed to the Monastery of Montserrat where you will go up the mountain on a rack train to see its fantastic scenery. Wthe then continue to Barcelona, arriving in the late afternoon.
Itinerary Note. In the winter months, from November to March, due to the shorter days, we will not visit the Monastery of Poblet in order to reach Montserrat in the daylight.
Today we will explore Barcelona, an impressive city right on the Mediterranean Sea. Starting by an informative city tour. We will also visit the city’s historic central area with its Gothic neighbourhood dating back to the Middle Ages. We will visit the area where the Olympic Games took place. We will also get the chance to see La Sagrada Familia Basilica, the masterpiece designed by the architect Gaudí. Following this, we will visit ‘Poble Espanyol’ (meaning ‘Spanish Village’). This open-air architectural museum is situated in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona. Enjoy the Spanish craftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions and folklore of the different regions that make up Spain. You will then have some free time to explore the city at your own leisure. In the evening we will transfer to Las Ramblas and the Plaza Catalunya area for dinner, where you can choose from a wide variety of restaurants before returning to our hotel for the night.
After breakfast you will be transferred to the train station to catch the high-speed train to Paris. The train is comfortable and the journey takes you through wonderful landscapes. The train journey takes 6 hours 30 minutes. After arriving in Paris you will transferred to your hotel. In the evening, we will visit to the Montmartre district. This neighbourhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cabarets. Choose from one of the many restaurants and sit down to a relaxing dinner. We ascend to the top of the hill by cable car to admire the spectacular views of Paris.
Today we will take a guided tour of Paris and visit the main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of the city of Paris. We will stop at the Eiffel Tower where you will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable wrought-iron monument. The tour will end with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides north and south Paris. Enjoy an afternoon at your own leisure to explore and relax! At sunset you can grab dinner in the Latin Quarter, a very picturesque and historic area where a wide variety of international cuisines await you. We will then return to the hotel afterwards.
Itinerary Note. There might be very long lines to climb the Eiffel Tower. For operational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different time of the day (or on Monday).
We will start the day by going to the centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum. Enjoy some leisure time to explore. If you wish, we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris.
Itinerary Note. For those who are interested, an optional excursion to Disneyland Paris is available.
After breakfast and at the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your ongoing flight.

These guidelines are to ensure that each tour group is conducted as expected and to ensure the overall satisfaction of all Inspiring Vacations customers. As a general rule, porterage is not included, therefore at all times you are expected to handle your own luggage where help may not be available.

Group size varies from package to package. Depending on the services provided, the group size might range from private 2 person experiences up to coaches of 50 people depending on your selected holiday.

On these packages you will travel from city to city on your own, exploring at your own pace. We have arranged transportation in most cases and day tours for you to see the destination. Enjoy the time and flexibility to linger longer or pick up the pace and see as much as possible. The choice is yours.
