As a general requirement across all of our trips, you may be required to walk up and down stairs, get on and off transportation, handle your own luggage, and participate in all scheduled sightseeing that may be conducted on uneven ground and terrain. This tour is fully escorted by a dedicated tour leader who will accompany you throughout the tour. If your tour includes multiple countries, you will be met by a new tour leader in each country and any internal flights included will be unescorted.

On arrival at Cairns Airport (flights anytime), you’ll be transferred to your resort.
Enjoy a guided walk at Mossman Gorge and then cruise on the Daintree River, to spot wildlife and unique plants. Enjoy lunch in a rainforest setting and take a walk on Cape Tribulation Beach. Wind through the rainforest of the Alexandra Range to a lookout for views out to the Coral Sea.
An experience of a lifetime today – cruise to an underwater world that is a kaleidoscope of colour and brilliance on an Outer Great Barrier Reef Cruise. Dive, snorkel or just stay dry and explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a semi-submersible craft. Watch the fish feeding from a unique underwater viewing platform and enjoy a tropical buffet lunch before heading to Cairns for the next 3 nights.
On arrival at Freshwater Station, board the Kuranda Scenic Rail for the journey to enjoy breathtaking views across the cane fields of Cairns, to the tropical rainforest of Kuranda. Wind through hand-hewn tunnels, across bridges and curves, all the time appreciating what an amazing engineering feat it is. In Kuranda, it’s time to explore this fascinating village. Later, board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for your 7.5km journey over and through World Heritage protected rainforest to Smithfield. This iconic experience showcases ancient rainforest and spectacular views with time at both Red Peak and Barron Falls Stations for education and interpretation.
