After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, start your day with a guided tour of New Delhi, showcasing the British legacy. Enjoy a photo stop at the impressive India Gate, drive past the Parliament buildings and Rashtrapati Bhawan, and visit the nearby Agrasen ki Baoli stepwell. Next, explore Gandhi Smriti, where Mahatma Gandhi spent his last 144 days, now a National Memorial.
We will continue to Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site from the 16th century, surrounded by lush gardens and intricate marble inlay. The tomb was the first garden tomb in the Indian subcontinent, a wonderful example of early Mughal architecture.
In the afternoon, embark on a guided tour of the historic Shahjahanabad. Walk past the Red Fort and along Chandni Chowk, visiting the Jain and Sikh temples, and exploring Paranthe Wali Gali and Kinari Bazar, along with the vibrant Spice Market; enjoy sampling local snacks at various shops during our 2-3 hour exploration.
After a day filled with sightseeing, we’ll return to the hotel.

Visit the Agra Fort, an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and the seat and stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. Shah Jahan, the Taj's creator, spent the last years of his life imprisoned at the fort by his son Aurangzeb. It was built in the late 1560’s by their predecessor, Akbar, with later embellishments by Jehangir, his son, and Shah Jahan, his grandson.

Udaipur – the ‘City of Lakes’, is the capital of the erstwhile kingdom of Mewar, one of the oldest surviving dynasties in the world and was established around 1567 A.D. The
chequered history of Mewar is showcased in the city of Udaipur, which is akin to an oasis in the desert state of Rajasthan. It is a rich and beguiling tapestry of lakeside palaces, forts, temples, havelis and gardens, reflecting the varied influences of the
centuries. Also called ‘Venice of the East’, Udaipur is located in the Aravalli ranges of the royal state of Rajasthan. Surrounded by ancient mountains and set on the edge of three lakes, it is a beautiful old city with narrow lanes meandering through it.

Begin your exploration with a visit to the City Palace, located on a hill by Lake Pichola, encircled by fortified walls. Built in 1567, the palace complex consists of four major palaces and several smaller ones, all forming a unified architectural façade. The main entrance, the Tripolia gate, was constructed in 1725, and leads you through a series of courtyards, corridors, and gardens. Afterward, take a leisurely walking tour through Udaipur's charming old city.

In the morning, you’ll embark on a journey to Jodhpur, also known as the "Blue City." En route, you’ll stop to visit the Ranakpur Jain Temples, located around 90 km from Udaipur, in the tranquil and remote valley of the Aravalli Range. Ranakpur is renowned for its awe-inspiring Jain temples, celebrated for their intricate carvings and sculptures. The main temple, dedicated to Adinath, is the largest and most complex Jain temple in India, featuring 1,444 exquisitely carved columns. In addition to the Adinath temple, you’ll also find two other notable temples dedicated to Neminath and Parsvanath, as well as a Sun Temple nearby, each an architectural marvel.

Jodhpur, often called the "Blue City," lies on the edge of the Thar Desert. Once the capital of the Marwar kingdom, founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, it is now Rajasthan’s second-largest city. Perched atop a hill, this majestic fort stands 125 metres high and stretches for 5 km. Overlooking the city, it is still managed by the Maharaja of Jodhpur. The fort is accessed through seven gates, each leading into a series of courtyards and palaces. Within, you'll find beautifully carved panels and latticed windows in the royal apartments, including the Sukh Mahal (Pleasure Palace), Moti Mahal (Pearl Palace), Phool Mahal (Flower Palace), and Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors).

Please be aware that if, based on evaluation by our leader or local representative, a participant is deemed unable to safely complete the itinerary, we retain the right to exclude them from all or part of the trip without reimbursement.
It is advisable to consult your physician for current medical travel advisories and any required vaccinations before embarking. We recommend carrying a first aid kit and any necessary medications in their original packaging, as they may not be readily available during travel. For those carrying medication, it's essential to check your government's foreign travel guidelines for local restrictions or regulations.
