As a general requirement across all of our trips, you may be required to walk up and down stairs, get on and off transportation, handle your own luggage, and participate in all scheduled sightseeing that may be conducted on uneven ground and terrain. Any physical ailments you may have must be disclosed at the time of booking to determine your suitability and where required, supporting documentation may be requested to ensure that we are comfortable that you will enjoy your trip.

Welcome to Delhi. Following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, our representative will meet you as you exit the arrivals terminal building, after which you will be transferred to your hotel. Check-in time is 1500 hours.
Rest of the day is at leisure to unwind and relax in the comforts of your hotel.
Arrival airport transfers are included as part of your package. You will be met upon arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
If Inspiring Vacations has not provided your international airfares, please ensure you provide your flight details via your Traveller Hub portal no later than 90 days prior to travel so that your transfers can be confirmed.
Please note: if you are arriving early and have made your own arrangements prior to your tour commencing, airport transfers will not be included. However, if you are purchasing pre-nights accommodation as part of your Inspiring Vacations package, airport transfers will still be provided to the starting hotel.
Some flights may depart the night before and fly overnight, to arrive on Day 1.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and proceed on a guided tour of Old and New Delhi.
Arriving in Old Delhi, drive past the Red Fort; visit Raj Ghat, the simple but moving memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. A short walk in the narrow bylanes is full of legends and unfolds many historic tales of Shahjahanabad. Visit quaint shops with incredible wares from food stalls to jewelry.
Later in the afternoon, get ready to explore imperial Delhi. Drive past the imposing India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Parliament buildings and Rashtrapati Bhawan (the President’s residence). End the tour with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage listed tomb of Emperor Humayun. The tomb was the first garden tomb in the Indian subcontinent, a wonderful example of early Mughal architecture.
After breakfast, drive to the Mughal city of Agra (205 Kms / approx. 5 hours). On arrival in Agra, check into your hotel to freshen up before enjoying a guided tour of Agra. No visit is complete without the Taj Mahal (closed on Friday), built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a mausoleum for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, a masterpiece in marble and one of the world’s most famous landmarks.
Enjoy a buffet breakfast and proceed to the royal city of Jaipur (260 Kms / approx. 7 hours) en- route stop at the ancient town of Abhaneri to visit a spectacular step-well and take a short walk around the village before you continue your drive to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur, check into the hotel for 2 nights. This evening is free for individual activities and further exploration of Jaipur.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. This morning: Excursion to the fabulous hilltop citadel of Amber Fort, en-route halt for a photo stop at the intriguing red sandstone Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storied wonder with an incredible pyramidal façade, overhanging windows with lattice screens, domes and spires.
Crowning the crest of a hill, the Fort offers a view of Maota Lake and the historic old town located at the base of the hill, which formed the early seat of the Amber kings before the fort was made their capital.
Following your sightseeing tour, return back to the hotel where the rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before check-out and proceed to the airport. Say goodbye to Jaipur as you check in for the short domestic flight to Delhi. You will be met upon arrival and transferred to the international terminal for the onward flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Nepal's Capital - Kathmandu, you will be met and transferred to your hotel where the rest of the evening is free.
Wake early this morning for an attempt to see Everest on an optional scenic flight. This stunning experience will see you take off from Kathmandu over Sagarmatha National Park, through the highest peaks in the world, with a grand finale of an up close view of Mount Everest. Return to your hotel, enjoy breakfast, freshen up and head out for a day of sightseeing.
Visit UNESCO listed Durbar Square, an area laden with Nepali Royal history. The inner complex is the site of the Old Royal Palaces, once housing the kings of the Shah and Malla Dynasty, who ruled over the city until the 19th-century. Next continue to Swayambhunath, the oldest Stupa of its kind in Nepal, dating back to around 460 AD.
Finish this fascinating tour of Kathmandu with a visit to Patan Durbar Square. The second of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley and is an excellent example of Newari architecture.
After breakfast today, check out and transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport for the 20 minute flight to Bharatpur. On arrival continue to the Tharu Community Lodge, your home for the next two nights. The lodge is a community based tourism and community business owned by local women to empower local Tharu women and located in the western part of Chitwan National Park.
After lunch, meet your local naturalist guide, board your canoe and head out on an excursion on the Narayani river. Keep your eyes peeled for marsh mugger crocodiles and the various birdlife that inhabit the riverbanks.
This evening, experience a local dinner and enjoy an indigenous cultural dance performed by the local Tharu community.
Rise early and head out into the National Park on a jeep safari. Tiger sightings are rare in Chitwan, but these majestic cats can still be found in the National Park. Keep an eye out for rhino, deer and the many breeds of birdlife that call the park home. This afternoon is at leisure to explore the village alongside the lodge or just to relax in this stunning part of Nepal.
Say goodbye to Chitwan and the friendly Tharu community this morning and continue to Pokhara (3 hour drive). The lakeside town of Pokhara is Nepal's second biggest city and the gateway to the stunning Annapurna Mountain range. While Pokhara itself sits at around 820m above sea level, the Annapurna Range contains three of the highest mountains in the world and are within 60km. On a clear day, the views are stunning.
After check in, enjoy an afternoon city tour visiting the Shiva dedicated Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, purportedly the longest cave in Nepal, the educational Tibetan refugee camp including an excellent museum and the Bindhyabasini Temple, the oldest in Pokhara. Head back to your hotel for a free evening.
Rise early this morning for some of the finest views in Nepal. Make the short drive up Sarangkot hill (1400m) and watch as the mountain range and Machhapuchhre - Fishtail Mountain gradually come into focus with the sunrise. This morning is a truely majestic experience and well worth the early morning wake up call. Head back to the hotel for breakfast before heading out for some boating in Phewa Lake. Take a boat ride across the lake, the second largest in Nepal to visit the Peace Pagoda, offering further spectacular views of the mountains and back across to Pokhara.
At the appropriate time, check out of the hotel and make the short flight back to Kathmandu. The views on the left hand side of the plane are spectacular. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel before making a visit to the third of the UNESCO Durbar Squares, this one at Bhaktapur. Enjoy a short walking tour of this interesting town before heading back to Kathmandu where you will then head out this evening for a farewell dinner at Bricks Cafe an atmospheric restaurant that makes a fine end to your adventure.
After breakfast and at the appropriate time, transfer to the airport where you will say goodbye to your guide and check in for your flight home.

Some of our packages will include airport transfers in either one or both directions when arriving or departing from your destination. To know if transfers are included please view the ‘inclusions’ section of your selected package. If airport transfers are stated, transfers will be included as advised.
If transfers are not included, we also offer the option to book your airport transfers using our online portal. Access to this portal is available through your Traveller Hub once your booking is confirmed. Transfers are readily available and do not need to be booked until your final hotel list has been confirmed. Once you have made a transfer booking, please refer to your confirmation email for all transfer details including a local contact number for the transfer company.
If you book pre and/or post-tour accommodation on your own arrangement, and the tour includes transfers, note that these will be forfeited. The transfers are only provided in line with the tour dates and pre and/or post-tour accommodation purchased through Inspiring Vacations when available.

Fitness Requirements
While the tour itinerary should give you some guidance and overview to the expected requirements, to determine if this tour is right for you we categorise each of our tours in terms of their intensity. These guidelines are to ensure that each tour group is conducted as expected and to ensure the overall satisfaction of all Inspiring Vacations customers.
As a general rule, porterage is not included, therefore at all times you are expected to handle your own luggage where help may not be available.

Leisurely Paced Tour: This itinerary will be conducted at a relaxed pace. You will typically spend several nights at one location which means less time spent packing and unpacking, and more sightseeing. You will be required to move about unassisted, including getting on and off vehicles, walking up and down stairs and handling your own luggage.
Tipping
A friendly reminder that tipping is not included in your package. While tipping is not customary, it's of great significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels, inspires excellent service, and is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry across many destinations.
You may also consider tipping your tour leader and driver for outstanding service throughout your trip. Remember, a tip is not compulsory and should only be given when you receive excellent service.
Accommodation
The accommodation listed is subject to change. Any changes will be of an equal or higher standard. Bedding configurations (double or twin) are requests only. All efforts will be made to meet your preferences, but we can’t guarantee your request will be available at all properties.
Single travellers
When booking this tour, solo travellers will be presented with two options:
1 - Single Supplement
By paying an additional $1,995.00 per person, in addition to the twin-share price, you guarantee the privacy of your own room throughout the entire trip.
2- Shared Room with a known friend
If travelling together with a friend, you can opt to share your room with him/her and avoid paying a single supplement.
You and your friend can create a unique booking each. Creating a unique booking, gives each of you the flexibility of making different travel arrangements (such adding extra accommodation, flights, etc), make separate payments and have individual access to our Traveller’s Hub
During the purchase path, you will need to provide your friend’s booking ID (if known) or at a minimum, your friend’s full name
Please note that the Tharu Community Lodge stay in Chitwan National Park includes en-suite facilities and twin share rooms.
The Single Supplement applies to a person who wishes to have their own room but who is part of a travelling party. For example, 2 people travelling together who both wish to have their own rooms OR a party of 3 people where 2 people share a twin room and 1 person has a single room. The single supplement would be applicable to the person wishing to stay in their own room.

It is advisable to consult your physician for current medical travel advisories and any required vaccinations before embarking. We recommend carrying a first aid kit and any necessary medications in their original packaging, as they may not be readily available during travel. For those carrying medication, it's essential to check your government's foreign travel guidelines for local restrictions or regulations.
