After breakfast this morning at your hotel, enjoy a free day to explore this wonderful city. Copenhagen city is one of the oldest kingdoms in the world and you can take in the main attractions and highlights by foot. You will have an orientation drive and visit some famous landmarks such as the Little Mermaid statue, including the legend behind the landmark. You may also wish to partake in an option tour of Zealand’s castles.

Today, embark on the famous drive across the Great Belt Bridge, crossing this iconic path to the Island of Funen, also known as Fairytale Island. While we make our journey Northwards and head along the Jutland Peninsular, we get to experience a stop in Odense, Hans Christian Andersen’s hometown, via the waterway before arriving in frederikshavn.
Today we begin to make our way towards Oslo, Norway’s capital. We embark on a lovely ferry journey across the Skagerrak to Langesund, keeping a keen eye out for any wildlife and marine life.
This morning we partake in an Oslo sightseeing tour, visiting Gustav Vigeland's sculptures; also see the National Theatre, Broadcasting House, Parliament, and Akershus Castle. In the afternoon, drive through the Telemark region, known for its vast forests, valleys and churches, where you'll spend the night.
This morning we begin our journey towards Bergen by taking the scenic route for a visit to Vemork, where the heavy water plant was blown up by a commando unit of British and Norwegians known as the Heroes of Telemark. Visit the Vemork Museum, then travel along lakes, winding valleys, and rugged gorges backed by towering mountains. Ferry across the Hardangerfjord from Utne to Kvanndal with a picture stop at Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall. On arrival in Bergen, Norway's picture-perfect Hanseatic seaport, start getting to know the city on the included orientation.
Built on seven hills with the fjords on one side and 1,000- foot Mount Floyen on the other, Bergen was the home of composer Edvard Grieg. Bergen is a city on Norway’s southwestern coast. It's surrounded by mountains and fjords, including Sognefjord, the country’s longest and deepest. Bryggen features colourful wooden houses on the old wharf, once a center of the Hanseatic League's trading empire.Spend the day exploring at leisure or consider joining one of our optional excursions to discover the history, traditions, and breathtaking views of this beautiful port city.
This morning, a moment to remember as you embark on an incredible drive with the most spectacular scenery, heading towards the Sognefjord, where you embark for a breathtaking cruise on one of Norway's mightiest fjords, the Naeroyfjord and then continue onto the Fagernes area
This morning we make our first stop at Lillehammer, the mountain resort that hosted the 1994 Winter Olympics, then, a scenic drive along beautiful Lake Mjosa. Continue towards Sweden through Varmland's unspoiled wilderness of forest and lakes to Karlstad, It’s known for neighbouring Lake Vänern to the south, dotted with tiny islands.
We say goodbye to Karlstad and head east towards Stockholm via idyllic Mariefred. The name is derived from that of the former Carthusian monastery here, Mariefred Charterhouse, and means "Peace of Mary" Here, view majestic Gripsholm Castle, built in an enchanting rural setting. On to the Swedish capital. Its beauty is due to its unique setting on 14 islands between Lake Maleren and the Baltic Sea.
Wake to one of the most beautiful of the Scandinavian capitals, because the crystalline waters that flow through its intersecting canals give a luminous appearance to palaces, castles, and parks. The city encompasses 14 islands and more than 50 bridges on an extensive Baltic Sea archipelago. Your city sightseeing takes in all the highlights including the City Hall.
After breakfast, you will have half of the day to explore at leisure, you will need to check out of your hotel and wait for your departure transfer to collect you and drop you at your overnight ferry. The ferry journey takes us to the capital of Finland, Helsinki. Considered one of the most liveable cities in the world, Helsinki is a vibrant hub of northern europe strategically positioned in the Gulf of Finland connecting the city to many other countries in the region.
As we arrive to Finland, we recommend that you go to the ship’s deck for sunrise, enjoy mesmerising landscapes from the sea as we sail along Aland Islands, hundreds of islands covered by forests. We disembark the ferry and have time to walk around TURKU, a city with a very strong Swedish influence.
We continue our journey to the neighbouring city of NAANTALI, a very picturesque town with wooden houses next to the sea. We travel on until we arrive in HELSINKI,reaching at lunchtime. In the afternoon enjoy leisure time, you will be able to explore the city, with its old market, buildings and churches.
Today is a day at leisure to explore this fantastic city. Its central avenue, Mannerheimintie, is flanked by institutions including the National Museum, tracing Finnish history from the Stone Age to the present. Also on Mannerheimintie are the imposing Parliament House and Kiasma, a contemporary art museum.
Today, you will say goodbye to this wonderful city as you make your own way to your connecting flights.

Online check-in
Some airlines may not permit online check-in where flights have been booked by a travel company. Where unavailable to do so online, you will be required to check-in at the airport. Inspiring Vacations cannot check-in online on behalf of our customers.
Fitness Requirements
While the tour itinerary should give you some guidance and overview to the expected requirements, to determine if this tour is right for you we categorise each of our tours in terms of their intensity. These guidelines are to ensure that each tour group is conducted as expected and to ensure the overall satisfaction of all Inspiring Vacations customers.
As a general rule, porterage is not included, therefore at all times you are expected to handle your own luggage where help may not be available.

Leisurely Paced Tour: A general level of fitness and mobility is required for this tour. The itinerary includes ample free time and you will not be impacted by stairs and uneven terrain. Where coach transportation is included, you will be required to get on and off the coach with ease.
Tipping
A friendly reminder that tipping is not included in your package. While tipping is not customary, it's of great significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels, inspires excellent service, and is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry across many destinations.
You may also consider tipping your tour leader and driver for outstanding service throughout your trip. Suggested amount for your guide, 500Y per person per day. Remember, a tip is not compulsory and should only be given when you receive excellent service.
