Welcome to Prague! On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel where you have free time to explore the city before meeting your guide and fellow travellers this afternoon for a tour briefing.

Today, our itinerary takes us to Prague, the captivating capital known as the Baroque jewel of Europe. Led by our knowledgeable local guide, we'll embark on a comprehensive city tour that encompasses remarkable landmarks. We'll stroll through the magnificent Prague Castle, where admission is included, immersing ourselves in its grandeur. Following that, we'll embark on a delightful boat tour along the Vltava River.

Afterward, you'll have the afternoon to freely explore the city at your own pace. In the evening, we'll indulge in more time within the historic city centre. Finally, we'll make our way back to the hotel, concluding our eventful day.

Our journey begins with an early departure from Prague, as we make our way to the charming city of Pilsen, situated in the picturesque region of West Bohemia and renowned for its exceptional beer. Take a leisurely stroll through its historic centre, where you'll encounter the magnificent Great Square, the impressive cathedral, the Plague Column, and a Renaissance-era town hall. Crossing into Germany, we'll embark on a scenic route known as the "Romantic Route," unveiling breathtaking landscapes along the way.

Our next destination is the enchanting village of Rothenburg, a place that exudes a fairytale-like atmosphere and is widely regarded as one of Germany's most beautiful towns.

Finally, we'll conclude our day in Frankfurt, the esteemed financial capital of Germany, arriving in the late afternoon. You'll have free time to explore the historic city centre, brimming with a diverse array of restaurants for you to choose from and savour a delightful meal.

Our itinerary for today treats us to a delightful experience as we embark on a small cruise along the Rhine, meandering between the charming villages of Rudesheim and St. Goar. This particular stretch of the river is renowned for its unrivaled beauty.

Following this scenic journey, we'll continue our adventure and make our way to Cologne, a city distinguished by its magnificent Gothic cathedral. We are then heading to the Netherlands, where we'll arrive in the late afternoon to the vibrant city of Amsterdam, ready to discover its unique allure and charm.

THE CANALS OF AMSTERDAM (€45pp)

You will have the opportunity to take a boat trip through the beautiful canals of Amsterdam, the capital of Netherlands, considered the "Venice of the North", with its 160 canals and 1,000 bridges, its beautiful houses of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, unique churches with carillon and stores, and the famous "Red Light District" .

Today promises to be an exhilarating day in the Netherlands, filled with captivating destinations and unique experiences. Our first stop takes us to Zaanse Schans, a remarkable place adorned with traditional windmills, charming canals, and iconic Dutch houses. Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of this historical site. We then proceed to the picturesque fishing village of Volendam, known for its postcard-worthy scenery. Embark on a short boat trip from Volendam to Marken, an island that was once separated from the mainland but now connected by a fixed dike. Explore the distinctive houses built on stilts, showcasing the rich architectural heritage of the region. 

Continuing our journey, we return to Amsterdam, where we'll indulge in a panoramic visit, providing us with a glimpse of its narrow canals, elegant official buildings, and beautiful parks. We'll also witness the intricate art of diamond cutting. Much of the tour will be conducted on foot, with informative commentary provided through headphones. As the day winds down, enjoy time in Rembrandtplein, an area brimming with diverse restaurants representing cuisines from around the world. Located near the famous red-light district, this neighbourhood reflects Amsterdam's liberal values. 

Finally, we'll make our way back to the hotel, concluding our eventful day in the Netherlands.

Our adventure for today begins with a journey to the capital of Belgium, Brussels. We'll spend time exploring the iconic Grand Place and make a stop to capture the unique Atomium in photographs.

Continuing our travels, we'll arrive in the enchanting Flemish city of Bruges, often referred to as the Venice of the North due to its mesmerising canals and picturesque charm. As our exploration continues, we'll cross the border into France, concluding our day with a late arrival in the magnificent city of Paris. Get ready to immerse yourself in the allure and romance of the City of Light.

Early this morning we will transfer to the magnificent Versailles Palace, a symbol of French royalty with ample time to discover the incredible grounds on your own (entrance to the Palace not included).

Following our visit, we'll return to Paris then transfer to the charming Montmartre district. An included funicular ride will transport us to the hilltop, where we can marvel at the stunning panoramic view of Paris.  This neighbourhood is renowned for its bustling community of painters, artists, and lively cabarets, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

Later, join us for a scenic guided tour that will unveil the fascinating history, iconic boulevards, and breathtaking monuments of Paris. Immerse yourself in the splendour of this remarkable city. Finally, we'll make our way back to the hotel, reflecting on the memorable experiences of the day.

Immerse yourself in the enchanting Parisian night by experiencing the legendary Moulin Rouge, the oldest and most renowned cabaret in the world. With over a century of history, this iconic venue transports you back to the glamorous Belle Epoque era in the vibrant Pigalle district of Paris. It was here that the concept of French "varieté" was born, under the guidance of influential choreographers like the famous painter Toulouse-Lautrec.

Prepare to be dazzled by more than 100 artists, including 60 talented dancers from across the globe. Witness a spectacular show featuring a gigantic aquarium, international acts, and the mesmerizing French Cancan. The Moulin Rouge is known for its lightning-fast scene changes, adding to the excitement and energy of the performance. This unforgettable show is a testament to the cabaret's enduring legacy.

SHOW PARADIS LATIN WITH DINNER (€165pp)

Following this unforgettable experience, we'll embark on a leisurely boat cruise along the picturesque River Seine, providing a unique perspective as it divides the city into its northern and southern parts. 

The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure, granting you the freedom to explore Paris according to your own preferences. Take this opportunity to delve into the city's rich offerings, discovering its hidden gems and embracing the Parisian ambiance.

Today, we venture to the heart of France, to the renowned Bourgogne region known for its exceptional wines. Our first stop is the medieval town of Semur en Auxois, surrounded by impressive walls and filled with historic charm. Continuing on, we reach the charming town of Beaune, situated in the heart of Bourgogne. Stroll along flower-lined streets, visit notable attractions like the hospice, and explore a fascinating wine museum. Experience the allure of this town and its rich cultural heritage. Our journey then takes us to Lyon, the capital of Roman Gallia, located on the banks of the Rhône River. Lyon's historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site, awaits us. We'll take a funicular ride to Notre Dame de Fourvière, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Enjoy leisure time to immerse yourself in Lyon's vibrant atmosphere.

Some fellow travellers will stay in Chambery, a city near Lyon, allowing us the opportunity to explore this medieval-style city with its stunning historic centre and impressive castle.

An enchanting stage awaits us as we journey to Switzerland. Our first destination is Geneva, where we'll arrive to discover its highlights. Our guide will lead us to the Palais des Nations, the European headquarters of the United Nations, followed by a visit to the beautiful "Jardin Anglais" with its charming flower clock. We'll also witness the awe-inspiring "Jet d'Eau," Europe's tallest fountain.

After a delightful lunch, our Swiss adventure continues as we traverse the stunning Leman and Neuchatel lakes. The scenic road offers breathtaking views of the three magnificent lakes, adorned by vineyards that overlook the majestic mountains. We'll make a stop in Neuchatel, allowing you to enjoy a leisurely walk along the lakeside, explore the historic town centre, or visit the splendid 10th-century castle. Our final destination for the day is Zurich, where we'll arrive in the late afternoon.

Please note that depending on the number of passengers travelling from Geneva to Zurich, this portion of the journey may be completed by train, omitting the stop in Neuchatel.

Accompanied by our knowledgeable guide, we'll embark on a tour of Zurich, Switzerland's most populous city and the nation's financial and cultural hub. Renowned as a city of banks, Zurich has been honoured twice as the city with the highest quality of life in the world. We'll explore its vibrant streets, immersing ourselves in its unique atmosphere.

Following our city tour, we'll embark on a delightful cruise on Lake Zurich, spanning nearly two hours. Along the way, the boat will make brief stops, allowing us to admire the charming lakeside villages. Our final stop will be Rapperswill, a picturesque village adorned by its medieval castle. Afterward, we'll return to Zurich via train, providing us with an opportunity to appreciate the efficiency and punctuality of the renowned Swiss railways.

Please note that depending on the number of travelers, transfers to the city center and from the station may be conducted using public transportation.

Today's journey unveils breathtaking landscapes adorned with towering mountains and serene lakes. The region of Interlaken offers stunning scenery that will leave you in awe. Our first stop is in Grindelwald, where we'll have a leisurely break for coffee before embarking on a cable car ride to the mountain peak. A winding path will lead us to the remarkable "footbridge over the empty," where you'll have the opportunity to walk amidst the awe-inspiring scenery, surrounded by magnificent glaciers. We'll savour a delightful lunch atop the mountain, included as part of the experience, before making our descent.

Our next destination is Lucerne, widely regarded as one of the most picturesque cities in Switzerland. Here, we'll have ample time to wander through the charming streets, immersing ourselves in the city's beauty. Soak in the enchanting atmosphere before we return to our hotel in Zurich.

In the early morning, we'll depart from Zurich and embark on a scenic journey through the majestic Alps, crossing over to the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. As we traverse this picturesque route, we'll be treated to the sight of stunning lakes and snow-capped mountains. Our first destination is Lugano, the cosmopolitan capital of Italian Switzerland, nestled alongside its beautiful lake. 

Next, we'll continue our adventure to the charming town of Morcote, renowned for its picturesque stone houses adorned with vibrant flowers. From there, we'll venture into Italy. Our final stop for the day is Milan, where our guide will lead us to the impressive Duomo Square. Here, you'll find a plethora of local and international restaurants to choose from. Afterward, we'll transfer to our hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Today, we embark on the next leg of our journey towards Pisa. Boarding a charming tourist train, we'll make our way to the Piazza Dei Miracoli, also known as the Square of Miracles. Here, you'll have ample time to marvel at one of Italy's most stunning art ensembles, which includes the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa. After this remarkable visit, we'll continue our adventure and make our way to Rome, where we'll arrive at the end of the day.

In the morning, we embark on a scenic tour, providing a splendid introduction to the magnificent "Eternal City" of Rome. Our first stop takes us to the Vatican, the revered epicenter of Christianity worldwide. Here, you'll have the opportunity to explore the renowned St. Peter's Basilica, a truly awe-inspiring site. Next we will visit either the Colosseum (November to February, pending availability) or the Roman Forum (March to October).

This afternoon is at leisure to explore the “Eternal City” on your own. Alternately you may wish to join one of the below optional excursions which ate bookable while on tour. See more details below.

As the evening draws near, we have arranged a convenient transfer to the Trastevere area, where you can indulge in a leisurely stroll along the narrow, cobblestone streets of this charming district. Discover hidden treasures, including modest medieval churches and quaint shops offering unique curiosities. Immerse yourself in the vibrant scenes of daily life. Trastevere boasts an array of trattorias and osterias, showcasing the authentic spirit of Italian cuisine. From local specialties to international flavours, you'll find a diverse range of dining options, including Indian, Chinese, and more. After a delightful evening, we return to the hotel, reflecting on the wonders of the day.

Explore the essential sights of Rome on this excursion. Immerse yourself in the magnificent baroque Rome of Bernini and Borromini, with its stunning fountains, squares, and obelisks. Discover the iconic landmarks created by the Popes, including the Ara Pacis, Via Veneto, Spanish Steps with its famous boat-shaped fountain, Trevi Fountain for the coin-throwing tradition, Piazza Colonna, the remarkably preserved Pantheon, and the extraordinary Piazza Navona. Experience the heart of Rome as you stroll through its historic centre on foot.

The crown jewel of our tour awaits in the awe-inspiring Sistine Chapel, radiant after its meticulous restoration. Concluding our visit, we will admire Michelangelo's iconic Pieta, the majestic Baldachin of St. Peter, and the magnificent dome created by the genius himself.

We will arrange a transfer to the airport at the designated time for your included domestic flight. Upon arrival at your destination, another hotel transfer will be provided for your convenience. Your guide will be in touch with you by the end of the afternoon, or you can refer to the information available at the reception of your hotel.

Please keep in mind that for domestic flights, the standard baggage allowance typically includes one suitcase weighing up to 20 kg in the cargo hold. Any additional luggage or excess weight will incur charges directly payable to the airline.

The morning kicks off with an extensive tour of Madrid's city centre, taking in iconic sights such as Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. We will then explore Retiro Park, a serene oasis nestled in the heart of the city, where you can admire the lake and the beautiful Glass Palace. Our next stop is Las Ventas Bullring, one of the world's most renowned bullrings, where we will delve into the tradition of bullfighting at the Bullfighting Museum (admission included).

The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure. As the sun sets, we will provide a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, located opposite the Royal Palace. This vibrant and sophisticated area offers a plethora of dining options, ranging from local Spanish cuisine to international delicacies. Indulge in a delightful dinner of your choosing. At the end of the evening, we will return to the hotel, ensuring a comfortable end to the day.

In the morning, we set off on our journey to Aragón, passing through the picturesque lands of Castile. Our first stop is in Zaragoza, where we will make a brief visit to the Pilar Basilica. Continuing our adventure, we make our way to the Monastery of Poblet, a remarkable medieval monastery surrounded by its protective walls (entrance included). Our next destination is the awe-inspiring Monastery of Montserrat, where you will have the opportunity to ascend the mountain on a rack train and behold its breathtaking scenery. Finally, we proceed to Barcelona, arriving in the late afternoon.

Please note that in some cases, depending on the rack railway schedule, we may ascend to Montserrat in our coach.

Also, during the winter months from November to March, due to shorter daylight hours, we will omit the visit to the Monastery of Poblet in order to reach Montserrat while it is still daylight.

Today, we embark on an exploration of Barcelona, a stunning city nestled along the Mediterranean Sea. Our journey begins with an informative city tour led by a local expert. (Note: If the group consists of fewer than fifteen people, our guide will provide explanations.) We'll delve into the historic central area, including the Gothic neighbourhood that dates back to the Middle Ages. We'll also visit the site where the Olympic Games were held and have the opportunity to marvel at the architectural masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia Basilica, designed by the renowned architect Gaudí.

Next, we include entry tickets to 'Poble Espanyol' (Spanish Village), an open-air architectural museum located in one of Barcelona's most iconic areas. Immerse yourself in Spanish craftsmanship and discover the diverse architectural styles, traditions, and folklore from different regions of Spain. Afterwards, you'll have some free time to explore the city at your own pace.

In the evening, we'll provide a transfer to the vibrant Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya area, where a wide array of restaurants will tempt your tastebuds. Finally, we'll return to the hotel in the late evening, concluding our memorable day in Barcelona.
